happy anniversary!!!

Well, this past weekend Annette and I celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary. We were thinking of going on a trip, but decided to defer that until later this year (we need to buy new carpet)... On Saturday, we decided to take a short road trip down to San Diego... we went to La Jolla and met up with Rosa... I suppose that's fitting since she was such an integral part of our wedding... actually not... but she will be remembered for giving the longest maid of honor speech ever.... not to mention she talked about Annette going "booking" at Korean clubs lol....

La Jolla was a bit chilly, but the scenery was really nice. Afterwards, Annette and I went to the cliffs... the cliffs are right off La Jolla Shores Dr... and from there you can see one of the craziest houses... I'm convinced Tony Montana lives there.... afterwards, we stopped by the Carlsbad outlets and then made our way home... it was such a nice quiet day and it felt so nice... these times are what being married is about...

we went out to dodger stadium to check out korea vs. japan in the finals of the wbc... it was pretty cool because there is a large sense of national pride... sometimes too much... the guy next to us brought this great big drum and was banging it all game... i couldnt say anything becuase he was korean... too bad we lost...

the future of the lpga... clubs check... balls check... now all we have to do is turn her into a lesbian, cut her hair short, and add 40 lbs...

we went to AOC winebar for the wife's b-day... i really like the eats here. didnt take many pictures as i was too busy stuffing my face... recommended dishes there are the skirt steak and the bacon wrapped dates.... afterwards we went out the gyenari (sp?) a bar in century city... apparently i was so drunk i started rubbing up on annette's guy friends as well as her girl friends... lol... i was supposed to drive home, but luckily we had greg... i yakked on the freeway, and the wife yakked in the driveway... fun times! next year, its the big 3 0 for the wife!!!

dave has witnessed our friend lil gene's hole in one... wasnt there for mine... and always wanted one for himself... part of me thought it'd be funny if years and years went by and he never got one.... but that all came to an end... skylinks golf course, long beach... i think it was around 210 yds... dave skulled a 5 wood that laser beamed rolled 30 yds, and into the hole... but not to worry 3 years from now, it will be a 7 iron into a stiff wind that checked on the green and rolled back into the hole.... congrats anyways dave, and thanks for the free beer...

I was excited today b/c my new kicks jus came in... My new kb iv's are pretty sweet... It is a bit funny though, because these are the first bball shoes I.ve purchsed since the tmac ii's... Yeah its been that long... I used to buy bball kicks all the time... The barkleys, the webbers, penny, kg... Etc... Not that I'm going to go hoop it up or anything, but I like these cuz they is low-top...

my friend art does everything... let me explain... he started with a saying, art does art... get it? (he's an artist) but then it grew in to other things... for example, his blog is art does blog... anyways... congrats to art... i guess he doesnt do baby, but ray (wife) does baby... and she does it well. they said she was in labor for 15 min, and out popped 6lb 10oz Sho Heejin Yang... Sho is a cool name... I'm already thinking of nicknames...

with all my friend taking care of their kids this year, i went on a 5-day outing to mammoth with annette's crew... it was pretty crazy... a 3-5 year difference in age = a big difference in the amount of overall alchohol consumption... i can't tell you how much damage was done... here is a sample. first night was just non-stop thanks to beer pong... at the end of the night i was playing rock paper scissors for shots... luckily i won like 9 out of 10... on the other side mike j got so wasted he went a bit crazy...
